Lakeside Pediatrics is Recognized as a Medical Home

In 2011 Lakeside Pediatrics was one of the first in the state to be recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance as a Medical Home.  Every year since then we have been certified as a level 3, the highest level, of medical home.  We’ve just been given the honor of NCQA certification again.

A Patient-Centered Medical Home describes a practice that provides coordinated wrap-around care for its patients and engages in continuous efforts to improve quality of care.

We want to thank our patients and families who teach us every day how to provide the care they need.  We want to thank our staff for their constant dedication to our patients.  We especially want to thank Melissa Lenihan, our Practice Manager, who spends countless hours every year getting us recertified.  Thank you also to Ellen Talbert from the Community Health Team for her support.
