Federal Child Tax Credit is Expanded for 2021

The federal government has extended and increased the amount of tax credit available for dependents for 2021. The IRS will use your 2020 tax return to determine if you meet the income limits to qualify for this benefit.  The credit has been raised to $3,000 per child under age 18 years, or $3,600 for child under 6 years of age.
