Understanding Our Fee Schedule for Non-Billable Items

As we continue to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to your children, we want to remind you of our fee schedule for services that are not billable to insurance. Transparency and communication are essential to ensure that you are well-informed about any potential costs associated with your child’s care. Here is a detailed overview of our fees for non-billable items.

Why Some Services Aren’t Covered by Insurance

Insurance plans typically cover medically necessary services such as routine check-ups, vaccinations, and sick visits. However, there are several important services and administrative tasks that fall outside the scope of insurance coverage. These services still require time, effort, and resources from our dedicated team.

Fee Schedule for Non-Billable Items

Miscellaneous Billing Fees

Cost: $5    Details: Monthly fee for bills generated more than one billing cycle.

Cost: $10  Details: Fee for copays not paid within 48hours of the visit.

Cost: $25  Details: Returned check fee.

School and Camp Forms

Cost: $25 Details: Completion of physical forms for schools, camps, sports, and other activities needed within 24 hours.

Missed Appointments/No-Shows

Cost: $25  Details: Charge applies if an appointment is missed or canceled without 24-hour notice.

After-Hours

Cost: $25 per call  Details: Prescription requests that are not within normal business hours (evenings, weekends, holidays)

Phone calls/Portal messages/Digital

Cost: subject to billing

Details: Provided that the visit does not either originate from a previous visit within the last 7 days or lead to another one within 24hours (or the soonest available).
